In addition to our regular curriculum, we have expanded opportunities for students to engage in after-school enrichment activities. The following programs are offered throughout the year.

Science Club:
MSMA and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences partnered for a unique opportunity. Students from their pharmacy program led the students from grades 4,5, and 6 in experiments to show chemical and physical changes of matter, liquid density, physics and engineering, and the polarity of molecules. The scientists from MCPHS taught the students proper lab procedures and safety. The twelve MSMA students who participated in the Science Club also constructed their own experiments which will be presented to the school during January.

Lego Club: If any parents would like to volunteer and supervise children playing and building with the legos, please see Mrs. Maureen

Ski and Snowboard Club:
This 6 week ski and snowboard program is offered at McIntyre Ski Area.

Gym Jam:
We continue to promote healthy living by promoting an active lifestyle for children. Gym Jam gives students an opportunity to engage in physical activities with friends after school Students play their favorite games once a week for an hour after school. Children should bring a change of clothes and a snack and labeled water bottle.
Aftercare children will be brought down to the cafeteria after the children are dismissed. This program is open to pre-k to grade 3 students. Parent volunteers are welcome to help.

Running Club:
Running Club is held weekly for the students in grades 4-6. You meet in the gym and everyone runs according to their own pace. We offer a fall and spring program.

We have several basketball teams at the Mount. Grades 3/4 are coed with both girls and boys on the team. We also have a Grade 5 and Grade 6 Boys Team and depending on the number of girls who want to play, we can either have separate teams or both grades join together. Practices are held twice a week and games are played on the weekends.
We are always looking for volunteers who would like to coach. If you are interested, please call Mrs. Maureen at ext. 102 Practices start late October or November. The season runs until February vacation.

We are looking for coaches and assistant coaches for all of the teams. Coed for grades 3/4. Boys team for grades 5/6 and a girls team for grades 5/6. Please see or call Mrs. Maureen if you are interested. “Go Raptors”.623-3155 ext 102

Foster’s Golf Camp:
Beginning in May, Foster’s Golf Camp will transport registered students to Legends Golf in Hooksett, NH on the Golf Camp bus. This after-school program includes golf lessons (clubs provided), driving range balls and mini golf. Parents must pick up their children by 5:30 pm at Legends. This popular program has limited space available so return registration forms and payment as early as possible to Foster’s Golf Camp to secure your spot. Questions may be directed to or (603) 622-1553.

If any parent would like to be a coach or an assistant coach for the various teams for basketball in the fall, please get in touch with Mrs. Maureen ext 102.

If you would like to facilitate an after-school activity, please see Mrs. Maureen. It does not have to be sports related. Thank you.
